Ockadok started because basically I’m obsessed with nice smells.

I’m Liam and I’ll walk into any shop that sells candles and smell absolutely everything. No self-control at all.

I’m always trying to make my house feel cosier. Lamps on. Music in the kitchen. Fresh sheets. Windows slightly open even when it’s too cold. I love how a smell can change a room in seconds, or suddenly bring back a memory you’d forgotten about.

After a while I realised I was spending a lot of time looking for certain scents.

So I started making them instead.

Everything is blended and poured by hand in Saltaire, in small batches. I adjust things until they feel right.
